| Description: Guru Poornima- Return to Guru’s Grace
This year marked the fourth Guru Poornima celebrated at the Ohio Nithyananda Vedic Temple and it was by far the most beautiful event to take place here. People visited from as far away as Toronto, Seattle, and Kentucky and enjoyed the day long celebrations. There were many highlights of the day beginning with gurumudi procession, followed by a beautiful abieshekum and alankar for Anandeswara. Everyone enjoyed being outside during the special tree planting to honor the Bhairava energy which occurred here during the inaugaration of April 2007. Guru pooja was performed by all in the grace of the master. In the afternoon, new participants enjoyed learning and experiencing Chandra Namaskar, a yoga vinyasa honoring the full moon. As darkness descended, the most beautiful double maha arathi was performed on the banks of the "Ananda Ganga". Our thanks to Swamiji whose constant presence in our lives makes all of this possible. |
